[IDEA] acquired duration and priority for actions, templates for actions

Hi there,

first of all, I think it is a good idea to rename the board localisation to something like general (or add a new board general), I miss a board for new ideas, bug-reports, feedback and so on.

I’m missing some options and functions for the actions:

1. priority

I’ve more actions a day than I have time. So I’ve to order my action after a priority. For example 1 is the highest and 5 is the lowest.

2. acquired duration

I want to say, that I need 10 minutes for action A and 1 hour for action B. After I’ve completed an action, I want to say: I’ve needed 15 minutes for action A and I’ve needed 1 hour for action B.

3. templates for actions

I’ve some actions, that I’ve to do in irregular distances. I would be nice to have templates for actions to reuse them, so that I’ve not to type the action “create useraccount on system foo” every time again.

One more:

It would be nice to have the “completed-checkbox” also in the tickler. I want to complete actions in the future, but I don’t want to delete them.

2) this is a rejected request. You could consider using the notes for this
3) this is an existing request
4) I don’t recall this one, you could consider adding this one

Thanks for your answer. I’ll take a look in the ticketing-system tomorrow. Maybe I can spent some time to help in the development the next few weeks.

2) I don’t think that it’s a good idea to use the notes for this point. Because I can’t calculate the sum of a specific action, for example. I think it would be a nice feature and I will write a patch for it.
4) I’ll write a patch.

I do not like 2) I don’t think this is specifically part of GTD which tracks tries to follow. Tracks is not a project planning tool…
