I am new to rails but would very much like to use tracks through my byethost account. Tech support has verified that ruby is installed and running correctly but I have not had any success in getting tracks to work. I’ve used a bunch of the various install tutorials to change the database and site files but the farthest I get is a welcome to rails page. Byethost uses cPanel which allows for creation of rails apps and a means to turn the app off and on but I can’t get it to turn tracks on successfully.
I was hoping someone was familiar with byethost and could help me out. One thing that I see is inside the gems control panel it lists a path to the installed gems I’m supposed to include in the script. Not sure if this could be part of the trouble.
