Tracks

I do not know exactly where to ask my questions, since, evne though tracks is quite user friendly, the community seems to be quite technical and devellopment oriented.

I use tracks from tra.in with great pleasure since 10 days.

Suddendly some of my tasks appear with a yellow background as if they were Highlighted.

This is pretty and probably useful but i do not know why !

Tracks seems to be the app i was waiting for since years.

I am ready to collaborate, say on translation, and i plan to learn R&R.

I know there is a lot of topics in this one but i have i got a lot of work to do, and i want to express a lot of instincts and feelings about tracks, and i don not know how. Pleas gime guidance for me to collaborate allright.

Tracks would be the real killer app if it would handle file uploads, and team working.
I am ready to work hard, for that, and, from my newbie point of view, i am not sure the data seems to be modified a lot to achieve this last goal.

The yellow background is there to remind you of actions that are there for some time, to remind you that you should do them In GTD terms, use Tracks to track your _next_ actions…

Release 2.0 is almost there. It has support for internationalization, so translations are certainly welcome.

We have a ticket system Assembla (link from the homepage) which you can use to look for existing enhancement request and where you can submit your own (and bugreports of course) Issues regarding tracks.tra.in need to go to their support forum of course

the first translations are in the upcoming tracks 2.0. There are instructions on the wiki how to do translations. Can you go from there?

Well i am sorry, but, for weak mind reasons, i am no longuer using tracks, especially for the reasons i’ve been telling you ( No teammeate possible, no file uploads… ). I use a paying tool which i customize to achieve GTD like goals.
I think you are very brave and you can be proud of all the work you do.

Besides team and upload, do you see other things that Tracks lacks when you compare it to your current tool?

Not at all… But those are essential for me…
